1.- BACKGROUND
In accordance with Spanish regulations governing the use of cookies in relation to the provision of electronic communication services, as set out in Article 22.2 of Law 34/2002 of 11th July, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce, we hereby inform you about the cookies used on the GRAPHENANO, S.L. website and the reasons for their use.

2.- WHAT ARE COOKIES?
A cookie is a file that is downloaded onto your computer when you access certain websites. Cookies allow a website, among other things, to store and retrieve information about the browsing habits of a user or their device and, depending on the information they contain and the way in which you use your device, they can be used to recognise the user. Cookies are associated only with an anonymous user and their computer or device and do not provide references that allow the user's personal data to be known.

3.- TYPES OF COOKIES

3.1.- According to the entity that manages them
First-party cookies: These are cookies that are sent to the user’s terminal device from a device or domain managed by the publisher itself and from which the service requested by the user is provided. Third-party cookies: These are cookies that are sent to the user’s terminal device from a device or domain that is not managed by the publisher, but by another entity that processes the data obtained through the cookies.

3.2.- According to purpose
There are many purposes for the use of cookies. Depending on the purpose for which the data obtained through cookies is processed, some of the purposes may include:

Technical cookies: These are cookies that allow the user to browse through a website, platform, or application and use the different options or services that exist within it. This includes those used by the publisher to manage and operate the website and enable its functions and services, such as controlling traffic and data communication, identifying the session, accessing restricted areas, remembering items in an order, processing the purchase of an order, managing payment, controlling fraud related to service security, processing registration or participation requests for an event, counting visits for the purposes of software licence billing (website, platform or application), using security elements during browsing, storing content for video or sound dissemination, enabling dynamic content (for example, loading animations for text or images), or sharing content via social networks. Technical cookies are exempt from the obligations set out in Article 22.2 of the LSSI when they enable the provision of the service requested by the user, as is the case with the cookies listed in the previous paragraphs. However, if these cookies are also used for non-exempt purposes (e.g., for behavioural advertising purposes), they will be subject to those obligations.

b) Preference or personalisation cookies: These are cookies that allow information to be remembered so that the user can access the service with certain features that may differentiate their experience from that of other users, such as the language, the number of results displayed when the user performs a search, the appearance or content of the service based on the type of browser used to access the service, or the region from which the service is accessed, etc. If the user chooses these characteristics themselves (e.g., if they select the language of a website by clicking on the corresponding country flag icon), these cookies will be exempt from the obligations of Article 22.2 of the LSSI, as they are considered a service expressly requested by the user, provided that the cookies are solely for the selected purpose.

c) Analysis or measurement cookies: These cookies allow the party responsible for them to track and analyse the behaviour of users of the websites to which they are linked, including the quantification of ad impacts. The information collected through this type of cookie is used to measure the activity of websites, applications or platforms, in order to introduce improvements based on the analysis of the data regarding the usage of the service by users.

d) Behavioural advertising cookies: These cookies store information on the behaviour of users obtained through the continuous observation of their browsing habits, allowing for the development of a specific profile in order to display advertising based on that profile.

3.3.- According to the duration of their activation.

a) Session cookies: These are designed to collect and store data while the user is accessing a web page. They are typically used to retain information that is only necessary for the provision of the service requested by the user on a single occasion (e.g., a list of purchased products) and are deleted at the end of the session.

b) Persistent cookies: These are those in which the data remains stored on the device and can be accessed and processed for a period defined by the cookie’s controller, which can range from a few minutes to several years.
