Graphenano Dental G-Cam

Graphene nanoreinforced biopolymer disc

G-Cam
It is a thermoplastic acrylic based on polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) doped with graphene (an allotrope of carbon), suitable for the fabrication of dental prostheses using CAD/CAM technology.

The G-CAM discs
are intended for the fabrication of full or partial dentures, implant-supported prostheses, permanent and temporary restorations such as anterior or posterior crowns and bridges, inlays, onlays, and veneers.

Innovation and Nanotechnology

The incorporation of graphene into polymers is a strategic innovation that enhances their mechanical properties. The increase in hardness and elastic modulus reduces the occurrence of cracks and fractures. Thanks to the low density of graphene and its excellent mechanical properties, it is possible to produce lightweight polymers with high strength.

Graphene is an ideal candidate for improving the performance of heat-polymerisable acrylic resins used in dentistry.

The G-CAM disc made of graphene-reinforced nanobiopolymer provides comprehensive solutions and addresses the limitations of the different materials currently used for dental prostheses.
