Smart Materials is a global pioneer in the production of graphene-based additives for advanced, high-performance, and eco-friendly construction materials.

It was founded in 2015 as a subsidiary of the Graphenano group, a leading company in the development and industrial-scale production of graphene, following a research and collaboration agreement with the Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM).

After more than 6 years of R&D and an investment of over 10 million euros, Graphenano Smart Materials developed the international patent SmartADDITIVES, 4th generation graphene-based additives for cement, concrete, and mortars, making it the only company worldwide capable of providing industrial graphene solutions.
